How does a ReQuest listing differ from a full price listing with a major real estate firm?
ReQuest listings are identical to all other listings, except, ReQuest does not accept any commissions. Your home is placed on the Northwest Multiple Listing Service web site, and web sites of Windermere, John L Scott, Realtor.com, Microsoft Home Advisor and many other sites. Over 12,000 licensed real estate agents in this area immediately see your listing. Buyers without agents will also see your listing. Please see our services and your savings!
How does a ReQuest listing differ from the other discount listings services?
We place your phone number on the yard sign. The other discount listing services, as well as the full price real estate companies, place their phone number on the yard sign. Buyers contact you directly when your phone number is on the sign. They do not call an agent. If agents are not involved, there are no commissions for you to pay. Other listing agents use your yard sign to obtain new clients. Buyers specifically interested in your home will be shown many other homes, because the agent wishes to sell buyers any home, not just your home.
How about professional photographs, yard signs and electronic key boxes?
All are included. If you do not want a key box, you may show your home, "By Appointment Only."
Is a ReQuest market time any longer than full price listing?
Our market time is exactly the same as the average market time for all listings in the multiple.
How long has ReQuest been in business?
ReQuest was founded in 1991.
Will real estate agents show my home if I list with ReQuest?
Yes, because agents will see your home in the multiple and are guaranteed a fee if they find you a buyer. The fee they receive is the amount you decide to pay when you list with us.
What about all the paperwork and negotiations?
ReQuest will assist with all the paperwork, including the required disclosure forms, negotiation, and the Purchase and Sale Agreement.
Will the traditional 3 % listing agent find the buyer for your home?
Most likely not. Listing agents have no more incentive to sell your home than they do to sell any other home. The listing agent will receive his 3 % anyway, even if he doesn't find a buyer. He gets thousands of dollars of commissions for just signing you up! Nearly all homes are sold by an agent other than the listing agent.
